Film Review - The Avengers (part one)

The Avengers film is an exciting film about the Avengers, who are Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, The Hulk, The black Widow and Nick Fury, agent of Shield.

This is about the characters:

The Hulk is big, green, muscly, strong and angry. When he is not the hulk he is Bruce Banner, who used to be a scientist. He is a superhero, and when he gets angry he turns into The Hulk.

Nick Fury, Agent of Shield has got an eye-patch. He always looks angry

Iron Man has got a suit which is a red and yellow metal suit, and he gets rockets out of his hands and feet to help him fly. And he’s got a metal thing in his chest. The suit makes him strong. He has rockets everywhere around his suit. He is clever and silly.

Thor is strong, and he’s got a hammer that nobody except him can lift up. He’s got a red cape, he’s a god of Asgard.

Captain America has got an unbreakable shield. and he was in the army, and he’s really strong.

The Black Widow is a girl, she is fast, good at fighting, and she works for Nick Fury. She is a spy. Spies go into other places to find out what other people are doing.

They work together to fight Loki. Loki is an evil god from Asgard. He now works for the ice-giants, and he came to Earth to kill everybody. At the beginning of the film the Avengers fight with each other, and then they learn that they are all good at different things, and they learn to use each other’s strengths.

Review - Tekken Tag Tournament 2

The game is about fighting and swapping your characters. You can do huge, powerful hits and you can be against the computer, or another person. You win when you get the other person’s life down twice.

I like it because we can swap our characters. My favourite character is Ogre, because he is big, and because he has got a snake arm. The person I always tag with him is Prototype Jack, because he’s big, and he does some good hits. ‘Tag’ is when you swap your people around in your team.

I also like the way people can make other people appear without even tagging them, because it’s a surprising thing in the game, and you don’t even know who they’re going to be until you see them. Another surprising thing is when you drop through the floor.

You can choose your own background in the game, and the people that you choose can fight in there. There are lots of different backgrounds; one is like a dark cave and there are skulls everywhere. It blends in with the character and I like that. When you’re in the skull cave there is scary music because you’re fighting in a scary place, which is clever. There is also a nice, flowery background, and when you beat that boss, it turns evil, because the boss of this background starts nice, but she turns evil, so the background turns evil too. It’s a teeny bit scary, because real life backgrounds don’t usually change. I like this, and it does need a few scary bits in it.

It is easy to practise on this game, because there is a practise bit where you’re allowed to choose your person and the person you’re fighting against, and you get to choose silly people.

I don’t think there are any bad bits, except that I’d like to know more of the fighting moves.

I give it 10/10.
